Covid 19 : The Haven after easing of the lockdown

The opening of tourism and hospitality happened  in phase 3 of the government’s lockdown easements on 4 July 2020.

During the the initial start up period there is a 1-day gap between bookings. Guests will leave at 4pm the day before their scheduled departure rather than 10.30am on the departure day, with incoming guests more assured that no one had slept in the cottage the previous night. We will of course refund the cost of that night.

Hygiene and cleaning measures in The Haven include protectors for the mattress, pillow and duvet covers that are appropriately washed before the next guests arrive.

The reasons for any change in routines are the health and safety of our guests and those of our caretaker/cleaner.

We will continue to revisit these aspects as the country moves forwards post the lockdown phase.
